Call Waiting & Hold

Attend two calls at a time with your Warid phone. You can be on one call while the network will alert you about another incoming call. You can put the first call on hold while you answer the second call.

How to get it?

This service is pre-provisioned for all Warid subscribers. To activate, go to your mobile handset’s call settings menu and click on call waiting.

Note:

  • Accessing the service depends on your handset compatibility so please consult your mobile phone's instruction manual.

  • Call Waiting & Call Holding are free services for all postpaid packages.
How it works?
  • Receiving two phone calls

    While talking on the first call you can place this call on hold and answer the second call.

  • Switching between calls

    Your mobile phone and Warid Network will allow you to switch between or swap two active calls.

  • Making a second call

    If you wish to make a second call while putting the first call on hold, simply go into your handset call menu while your first call is active. Hold the first call and initiate the second one (for most of the handsets, first call goes on hold automatically when you make a new call).
